Attorney Rachel Wiggins Bays

Rachel grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she graduated from C.E. Byrd High School. She graduated from Louisiana Tech University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2010 and she received her Juris Doctorate and Certificate of Civil Law Studies from Mississippi College School of Law in 2014.

While in law school, Rachel gained experience in prosecuting and law enforcement by interning at Caddo Parish District Attorney’s Office in Shreveport, and she was also sworn in for limited practice as an Assistant County Prosecutor in Hinds County, Mississippi, as well as working for the Legal Department at the Hinds County Mississippi Sheriff’s Department.

Rachel has been with the John D. & Eric G. Johnson Law Firm for ten years, where she focuses her practice on criminal defense.

Rachel lives in Homer, Louisiana with her husband and two daughters, but she enjoys traveling all over the state daily working on getting the best possible outcomes for her clients.
